We hope you are all having a great summer! It’s almost back to school time… SBP is hosting its Monthly Information Meeting this coming Thursday! These meetings are a great opportunity to meet with some members of the board and have any questions answered in a small group setting.

A quick “where we are now…”
The SBP Board plans to submit the charter petition to the SCCOE sometime in September. The SCCOE will hold a public hearing within 30 days of receiving the petition (Likely at the County’s regularly scheduled board meeting on October 4th or October 18th) and then the SCCOE Board will make a decision within 60 days of receiving the petition, sometime in November. (Likely at the county’s regularly scheduled board meeting on November 15th). Mark your calendars for those dates and we will let you know if they change!
